The Hydrolyzation and Hydrolysis Rates of Chlorodifluoromethane during Catalytic Hydrolysis over Solid Acid (Base) MoO3(MgO)/ZrO2 Catalyst

Chlorodifluoromethane (HCFC-22) is one of the air pollutants that destroy ozone layer and warm earth. In order to degrade HCFC-22, catalytic hydrolysis method currently most effective environmental technology. Herein, we prepare solid acid MoO3/ZrO2 base MgO/ZrO2 catalysts for degradation with a particular focus on revealing effects catalyst preparation methods, calcination temperatures, temperatures hydrolyzation rates HCFC-22. The are characterized by XRD, N2 isothermal adsorption–desorption, NH3-TPD. results show (base) MoO3(MgO)/ZrO2 have strong activity while MoZr better than MgZr rate can reach more 90%. water vapor generates B-acid centers framework promotes HCFC-22 HF HCl.
